Two members of the HC21 team are heading out into the community tomorrow for Science Week. Jo and Chloë are delivering a workshop at Mossley Church of England Primary School to teach pupils about the world of medical communication.
The event is focused around how sugary drinks affect the health of your teeth. The pupils will get to find out how much plaque they have on their teeth before using lots of different resources to design their own poster about this topic to inform other students. Chloë told us, “the interactive nature of the workshop will help engage the students and give them a taste of what we do on a daily basis at HC21.”
HC21 is committed to making an impact in the community, which is reflected by our Investors in People Silver award. Jo enthused, “Science Week is another activity to add to list of community projects and charity work HC21 is involved in. It’s also a great way to spend a Thursday morning!”
